How long does it take for a dentist/orthodontist to put braces on you?

About two hours and it depends on your type of braces too, because some of them take longer to wire. The invisible braces or the clear ones take a little longer than the basic ones. Also...it depends on if you have rubber bands for you braces, that takes longer too. But all together it should roughly be about two hours.Also..if you are a girl, maybe even a guy, you might wanna put chap-stick because your mouth is gonna be open for that long. Also..take an aspirin or ibuprofen ahead of time because it'll hurt after.

Probably about an hour or so.. depending if you are getting them for the first time or not. When you go get your bands changed it can take up to 30 minutes depending on how many, where .. and the person doing them. I had braces for about 6 years so I remember well.

I just got on braces a 6 months ago, for the usual appointment it will take 1 1/2 hour. The whole experience is painless but the glue they put in your mouth is pretty bad tasting. Although your teeth will hurt after a day or two, Advil is the solution!

They took 2 hours on mine... and they had some trouble with one bracket and the bottom wire... and apparently i have an abormal amount of saliva! haha
