How long does it take to get your teeth tighten [ i have braces] only top. and how does it feel?

i have braces,,, im actually getting them off next week!... but its not too bad
it takes about a half hour to tighten.. mayb less becuase you are only doing top. the feeling isnt too bad. I would take an advil or something right before you go or as you leave the office. It does hurt... but not too bad. If its you first time you will probably think it hurts and feels strange. Its a weird kind of pain. But I promise, me having them 4 years, that after a while you will soon get used to it!

Well for me never and I got my top done like 2 weeks ago. And had an appointment this morning no tighten or wires needed to be cut. I have the Damon or Vita brackets. Which speed up the treatment. Got the rubber bands put on this morning it hurt. So for what I hear please take some kind of pain pills when you go to get them tighten. My cousin the first time she felt like crap hurt for a few days and now she take Tylenol before dentist appointment.

Yeah, Iit only takes about 15 minutes to tighten just the top. It hurts a little bit afterwards but it doesn't hurt while they are doing it. Take an advil or something before you go...it really helps.
