How long does it take gums to heal after having 8 extractions up top ?
Answer:
Healing time is different from person to person, but for your gums to completely heal from extraction can take several months and even then you may have a slight indentation there forever. Just follow your dentists orders and should you develop any problems let him/her know. As always keep rinsing your mouth with warm salty water, this will help keep food debris out of the extraction site and also prevent any infection. Good luck!
You should stop bleeding in several hours, only slight oozing for the next day or two. You should be able to eat what you feel comfortable with as soon as possible. Start with soft food for the first week. It shouldn't hurt any more after about a week. Most people are healed enough to take impressions for a denture after about 6 weeks.but then again... i didn't pass wreb
